GI Good indoor climate
Highest demands on indoor air quality
The GI GUTES INNENRAUMKLIMA® label offers clients certainty regarding the indoor climate in new and converted buildings as well as existing buildings. To obtain the label, qualified measuring institutes check that the highest standards of indoor air quality are met. As an independent label, it is characterized by ease of use, low costs and direct practical relevance.
Numerous Studies have shown that a good indoor climate increases employee performance and reduces absenteeism.
In construction projects, it is therefore crucial that the focus is placed on creating a perfect indoor climate when designing, selecting materials and planning the ventilation systems. Only with standardized and representative measurements can statements be made about the quality of the indoor climate. To achieve GI GUTES INNENRAUMKLIMA® certification, it must therefore be proven after completion of construction that the certificate values defined according to scientific criteria have been met in the indoor air. This gives building owners the assurance that the indoor climate has no deficiencies that could impair the well-being of building users or even damage their health.
How does certification work?
The Swiss Certification Body for Construction Products S-Cert AG is responsible for the correct implementation of certification and compliance with conformity. The regulations and the application documents are available on the S-Cert website www.S-Cert.ch. As the new owner of the trademark rights, Ecosens AG is currently working on a revision of the existing regulations. The aim of the revision is to adjust certain measurement parameters in order to further increase the added value for building owners and users. In addition, the label is to be more broadly supported by involving various experts and institutions. If you are currently planning certification, please contact us. Further information and already certified reference buildings can be found here www.gutesinnenraumklima.ch
Benefits of certification
- Buildings with a good indoor climate have added value
- A good, pollutant-free indoor climate increases the well-being and performance of users
- The strictest requirements for indoor air quality increase safety
- The label's claims are quantifiable, credible and communicable
- The quality seal can be used as an independent label or as an addition to other building labels (recognition by Minergie-ECO)
