Harnessing the heating and cooling power of the Earth

Geothermal systems are designed to be used for several decades. The ability to use geothermal energy varies greatly according to each site. Thorough geological assessments and meticulous planning are therefore crucial.

The earth is an almost endless source of eco-friendly, climate neutral energy. This source of energy is in vogue and its importance will continue to grow.

The most common way to harness geothermal energy is by using probes connected to a heat pump. They draw heat from the ground or groundwater during the winter, while they have a cooling effect in the summer. The same effect can be achieved by using energy piles as foundations and heat conductors.

We provide advice and guidance to developers on the system to choose and in legal issues.

Our services:

  • Evaluating geothermic potential
  • Preparing hydrological reports, modelling groundwater abstraction and restoration
  • Support during the approval process
  • Drilling supervision
  • Documenting drilling logs
  • Conducting pumping tests to capture heat from water
