New divisional heads

New divisional heads

Dual handovers at Ecosens. Two long-term divisional heads started their retirement at the beginning of 2019. Early planning ensured that competent successors could be found.

Since 2009, the Environmental Planning Division has been headed by Christoph Erdin. He retired from this position at the end of March 2019, but will continue to carry out contract work for Ecosens His successor at the Environmental Planning Division will be Daniel Sabathy (Dipl. natw. ETH, Biology). Mr Sabathy has been working for Ecosens since 2001 and headed the Hazardous Materials in Buildings Division until 2012. From 2013 he was a project manager in the Environmental Planning Division, specialising in environmental impact assessments, environmental building management (EBM), water protection, nature and landscape, as well as offering environmental advice to municipalities.

The retirement of Heinz Rothweiler also occasioned a change in divisional management in the Indoor Air Quality Division. Mr Rothweiler has been employed by Ecosens AG since 2008 and helped to establish the Indoor Air Quality Division in 2012. Since the beginning of May 2019, the Indoor Air Quality Division has been headed by Pascal Diefenbacher (Dr. sc. ETH, Environmental Sciences), who has many years of experience in indoor and outdoor air pollutants. Mr Rothweiler will continue to work for Ecosens on a contract basis."
